"Package design displayed in events"
Christmas is the most celebrated event in Europe, and many people go to the Christmas Market with their families, lovers, and friends to enjoy the food and gifts. I visited the Christmas Market when I was studying abroad in Dijon, France and I saw spiced breads called “Pain D’epices” at the market. However, the breads were wrapped in plastic wraps. “Pain D’epices” is Dijon’s traditional dessert but it was unpleasant to see that there was no package for it. Not only the locals, but tourists also visit the market so I thought that it was necessary to design a package for the bread with more varieties. Moreover, the various colors are according to the flavors, which are salted caramel, mustard, and apple.

ヨーロッパではクリスマスが最も大事な祭日ですが、家族や恋人、友達がその時期によく行かれるイベントがクリスマスマーケットである。フランスのディジョンに留学したときに、「パン・デピス」というスパイス風味のお菓子がクリスマスマーケットで売られていたのを見たが、そのお菓子はサランラップだけに包まれていた。ディジョンの伝統的な美味しいお菓子なのに、パッケージがなかったのを見て勿体無いと感じた。マーケットには地方の人だけではなく、観光客も訪れるのでもっと品種のあるパン・デピスのパッケージをデザインしてみた。味によってパッケージの紙の色も違ってくる。
